Area students receive academic accolades

Northeast Community College in Norfolk has released the president's honor list and dean's honor list for both full– and part–time students for the fall 2024 semester.

To be named to the president's honor list, students must earn a grade-point average of 4.0 and be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours. Students named to the president's part–time list attained a 4.0 GPA while taking at least six credit hours.

Students named to the dean's honor list earned a GPA of at least 3.75 while taking at least 12 credit hours. Students named to the dean's part–time list earned a GPA of 3.75 or above while taking at least six credit hours.

Local full-time students named to the president's honor list include Kelsey Schlecht, Clearwater, and Jaycee Reynolds, Ewing.

Part-time students named to the president's list include Irelyn Bearinger, Jenna Funk, Raina Krebs, Caydence Schumacher and Keaton Thiele, Clearwater; Mason Knox, Talya Nilson and Aubrey Parker, Ewing; Carter Bergman, Lydia Robertson and Deric Sayers, Orchard.

Students named to the dean's list who attend NECC full time include Aislynn Kester of Clearwater.

Part-time students named to the dean's list included Rochelle Allemang and Kenna Brabec, Clearwater; Karley Dawkins, Orchard; and Sam Cheatum, Page.
