Village of Page BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The regular monthly meeting of the village board of Page was held Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at the village office. Notice was published in the Summerland Advocate and was also posted at three public places within the Village of Page. This meeting was conducted in compliance with the Nebraska Open Meetings Act and Open Meeting Laws posted at the Village Office.

Chair Linquist opened the meeting at 7 p.m. Trustees Cunningham, Tyrrell and Leichleiter present. Also present: Dennis VanEvery and Cora Calkins. Absent: Daniel Sobotka.

Motion by Leichleiter, seconded by Tyrrell: Approve minutes of the Dec. 9, 2024, regular meeting as presented. Passed - all ayes.

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Cunningham, to pay claims presented. Passed – all ayes.

Actions taken:

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Cunningham, to pay first year of maintenance contract to NMC for generator. Passed - all ayes.

Motion by Leichleiter, seconded by Tyrrell, to approve building permit for Rod and Diane Heiss at 103 S. 9th St. Passed - all ayes.

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Cunningham, to accept offer for Kathy Van every to volunteer to mow at rate of $10 per hour for the 2025 season, using her equipment. Passed, all ayes, except Leichleiter, who abstained.

Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by Leichleiter, to adjourn. Passed - all ayes. Adjourned at 7:56 p.m.
