Hooked on tradition

Fishing enthusiasts, get the ice fishing gear ready for Feb. 2.

Royal Fire Department will sponsor the 42nd annual Royal ice fishing tournament at the north end of Grove Lake.

Sign-up begins at the lake at 9 a.m. and fishing continues until 2 p.m.

A calcutta will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m., at the Royal gym. Food and refreshments will be served. Individuals may also register that evening.
