VILLAGE OF Clearwater, NEBRASKA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE Village of Clearwater TO annex AND EXTEND THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE Village of Clearwater TO INCLUDE THE WEST 20 ACRES OF THE SOUTH 60 ACRES OF THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 25 NORTH, RANGE 8 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., Antelope County, NEBRASKA; TO REPEAL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; TO PROVIDE WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT; AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE IN PAMPHLET FORM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRPERSON AND Board of Trustees of the Village of Clearwater, NEBRASKA:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission, after a duly noticed hearing to which affected property owners received notice, has recommended the annexation of the following real estate to the Village of Clearwater (hereinafter the “Real Estate”):
The West 20 acres of the South 60 acres of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 1, Township 25 North, Range 8 West of the 6th P.M., Antelope County, Nebraska, which is generally laid out as Parcel Nos. 000660501 and 000660500 with the Antelope County
Assessor’s Office
SECTION 2. The Clearwater Village Board of Trustees, after publishing notice of hearing and providing written notice to affected property owners, held a public hearing on the Planning Commission’s recommendation on November 11, 2024.
SECTION 3. The Board of Trustees voted to approve the recommendation of the Planning Commission and found that the Real Estate is contiguous or adjacent to the corporate limits of the Village of Clearwater and is urban or suburban in character and does not include any agricultural lands which are rural in character.
SECTION 4. The Real Estate is hereby annexed and included within the corporate limits of the Village of Clearwater.
SECTION 5. Pursuant to Clearwater Zoning Regulations Section 12-1.6(D)(5) this ordinance was read three times before its approval, the first reading of which occurred on November 11, 2024.
SECTION 6. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict be and the same hereby are repealed.
SECTION 7. That this ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
SECTION 8. That this ordinance shall be published in pamphlet form and available for public inspection during normal village office business hours.
