Sheila Wright

A funeral mass for Sheila Wright, 62, of Ewing will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ewing. Fr. Bernard Starman will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Ewing. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, with a rosary at 1:30 p.m., at the church in Ewing.

Sheila died on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, at Arbor Care Centers in O'Neill.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill.

Sheila Theresa Wright was born Dec. 15, 1962, to Bud and Geraldine Wright in Neligh. Sheila grew up on the ranch west of Ewing. She attended Ewing High School and graduating with the class of 1981. After high school, she spent much of her time caring for children and helping the elderly. Sheila had a kind heart and was very good at caring for others.

Sheila enjoyed spending time with her son, Tyler, and his family, visits from her family and friends, watching game shows and cheering on the Denver Broncos.

Her love of family and her faith helped her to persevere through life's challenges. She was also known for her spunky remarks and her very contagious smile and laugh.

Sheila is survived by her son, Tyler (Harley) Wright of Neligh; grandchildren, Theresa and Irma; brothers and sisters, Rod (Melanie) Wright of North Platte, Jeff (Micki) Wright of rural Ewing, Lisa (Gary) Connot of O'Neill, Angie Rohlfs of Sioux City, Will Wright of Wichita, Kansas, Doug (Dawn) Wright of Humeston, Iowa, Matt (Donnelle) Wright of Oakdale; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Geraldine Wright.
