The Summerland Lady Bobcats hosted the Boyd County Spartans on Saturday, Dec. 14, delivering a commanding performance in front of the home crowd. The Bobcats jumped out to an early lead and maintained their momentum throughout the game, securing a decisive 59-34 win.
The Lady Bobcats displayed balance and intensity on both ends of the court, with standout performances from multiple players.
Individual highlights:
• Lydia Robertson showcased her scoring prowess, leading the Bobcats with 20 points. She also contributed eight rebounds, four steals, and one block.
• Kanyon Allemang filled the stat sheet with 16 points, four rebounds, five assists, and five steals. Despite her six turnovers, her playmaking was instrumental in building Summerland's lead.
• Belle Anson made her presence felt with eight points, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals, along with one block.
Defensive contributions were pivotal to the victory, as players like Jenna Funk (six rebounds, three blocks) and Karley Dawkins (one steal, one block) anchored the Bobcats' paint defense.
