Holiday tournament pairings released

The 2024 edition of the Summerland Holiday Basketball Tournament will tip off Friday, Dec. 27, with championship games slated for Saturday, Dec. 28.

Joining the Bobcats will be teams from Ainsworth, Wakefield and Winside.

On Dec. 27, the first game will begin at 3 p.m., as the Ainsworth girls will play Wakefield. The Ainsworth and Wakefield boys will follow, with a 4:30 tipoff.

Summerland girls will meet Winside at 6, and the night will end with the Bobcat boys vying against Winside.

Consolation games will begin at 3 on Saturday, with the girls' game, followed by a 4:30 tip for the boys.

Championship games are slated to start at 6 for girls and 7:30 for boys.

Summerland officials remind sports fans that local and conferences passes will not be accepted for the admittance.
