Lady Cats find success at Wayne duals

Summerland girls managed a tie with Wayne during the first match of the 2024-25 season, in Wayne, Dec. 5.

Raina Krebs picked up a pin, in 1:12, over Janelly Lucas, in a 235-class match.

Ava Cleveland continued her sophomore season by pinning Edmy Balux in 1:10.

Abbey Chipps took 23 seconds to pin Gracelynn Daniels, while Kaylee Thiele pinned Ivette Ozuna in 1:23.

Charlee Wagner opened her season with a win over Kaylei McIntosh in 1:28, in a 170-pound match.

Jaelyn Shaver, 190, and Abby Arroyo, 140, won by forfeit.

Gracie Mudloff lost by fall, in 2;44, to Megan Magnuson, in a 130 match. Anna Naeve pinned Jadyn Hobbs in 1:16.

Wayne picked up wins by forfeit in the 100, 105, 110, 120 and 135 classes.

In the nightcap, the Lady Cats downed NEN (Wisner-Pilger and Pender), 54-24.

Cleveland pinned Kaitlyn Maheny in :35 in a 115 match.

Arroyo pinned River Butts in 1:01 and Mudloff pinned Emma Grell in 1:03.

Arroyo competed in the 140 division and pinned Shaylee Sanderson in 1:43.

Thiele, Hobbs, Wagner, Shaver and Krebs won by forfeit.

NEN picked up forfeits at 100, 105, 120, 135.
