Orchard Village Trustees approved a $6,500 bid from John Prouty Construction for demolition of a house situated at 135 W. 3rd Street when they met Oct. 21 in regular session.
Clerk Brenda Harrison noted two bids were received for the project. Trustee Tyson Schutt made a motion to accept Prouty's bid and John Ferguson added the second.
Chris Miller, of Miller and Associates, in Kearney was certified as the village's street superintendent. Trustees unanimously approved Resolution 10.21.24.
