The professional development team at ESU8, located in Neligh, partners with 18 school districts across seven counties in northeast Nebraska.
They provide resources and support to ensure all students have access to grade-appropriate learning opportunities, high expectations and strong instruction. The team strives to meet the unique needs of each district, so they have the systems, tools and practices necessary for success.
As a team, they provide professional learning opportunities and ongoing support to all educators, in all grade levels, and across all content areas.
As examples, they offer support for schools to integrate instructional technology, implement new curricula and materials and apply proven classroom practices.
Additionally, they provide leadership support to help districts enhance efficiency and nurture a culture of excellence. The ESU8 professional development team endeavors to support educators in their professional growth at every level, so all students have access to high-quality education.
