Village of Page TAX REQUEST HEARING

Notice of the Tax Levy Hearing was published in the Summerland Advocate-Messenger on the 11th day of September, 2024, and was also posted at three public places within the Village of Page. This meeting was conducted in compliance with the Nebraska Open Meetings Act and the Open Meeting Laws are posted at the village office.

Chair Linquist declared the Tax Request Hearing open at 7:17 p.m. with Trustees VanEvery, Tyrrell, and Campbell present. Also present: Cora Calkins. Absent member(s) – Leichleiter.

Village Clerk, Cora L. Calkins, presented information regarding the property tax request change to the board and public.

Chair Linquist opened the floor for public comment regarding the tax request.

There being no comment from the public wishing to address the governing body on the subject of the 2024-2025 tax request, a reasonable amount of time for discussion was deemed concluded. Motion by Tyrrell, seconded by VanEvery, to close and thereby adjourn the Tax Request Hearing. Roll call votes recorded as follows: VanEvery – Aye; Leichleiter - Absent; Tyrrell – Aye; Linquist – Aye; Campbell - Aye. Motion passed, all present voting aye.

Chair Linquist declared the tax request hearing closed at 7:25 p.m.
