VILLAGE OF Ewing BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Sept. 9, 2024

The Ewing Village Board of Trustees convened for the Budget Meeting on Sept. 9, 2024 at 7:02 pm at City Hall, which was advertised in the Summerland Advocate-Messenger, and posted at three locations in the village.

Notice was given to the posted location of the open meetings law.

Board members present were: Dustin Jorgensen, Kane Fry, Katie Cunningham and Dustin Wright. Absent was James Ramold. Also present were Don Ruroede, Jeremy Tuttle, Mandy Spangler, Alan Potter and Sharon Swails.

Motion by Fry, seconded by Jorgensen, to approve the 2024-2025 budget as presented. Voting: Yes – 4; No – 0; Abstain – 0; Absent – 1.

Motion by Jorgensen, seconded by Fry to approve Resolution #429 for setting the property tax request. Voting: Yes – 4; No – 0; Abstain – 0; Absent – 1.

Motion by Fry, seconded by Cunningham, to approve the increase of total restricted funds by an additional 1%. Voting: Yes – 4; No – 0; Abstain – 0; Absent – 1.

As there was no further business, a motion by Cunningham, seconded by Jorgensen, to close the budget meeting. Voting: Yes - 4. No – 0. Abstain – 0. Absent – 1.

Budget meeting closed at 7:04 p.m.
