Filing deadlines for village, county offices drawing near

Holt County Clerk Cathy Pavel reminds individuals that filing deadlines are fast approaching for Holt County Weed Board and the village boards of Stuart, Ewing, Chambers, Emmet, Page and Inman, in Holt County.

Filing deadlines are July 15, at 5 p.m., for incumbents and Aug. 1, at 5 p.m. for non-incumbents. An incumbent is anyone serving in an office, even if they are filing for an office other than the one in which they are presently serving.
