Page Fire and Rescue responds to single vehicle accident

Two individuals were transported to Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill following a June 23 accident on 503 Avenue, just south of 887 Road in Holt County.

According to the Holt County Sheriff’s Office, a 19-year-old male and 16-year-old passenger were northbound on 503 avenue, south of 887 road, when the driver lost control of the 2002 Chevy Silverado, due to a soft spot in the roadway.

As the Chevy slid toward the ditch, the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll. It came to rest on the driver’s side in the middle of the roadway. The vehicle is a total loss.

Page Fire and Rescue, Lynch Fire and Rescue and Butte Fire and Rescue were all on scene. Boyd County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
