Reliable, Trustworthy Reporting, Capturing The Heartbeat Of Our Community

Lemonade days

A group of youth present Orchard village chairperson Stephanie Cleveland with the proceeds from a pop-up lemonade and treat stand, held at Double S Insurance, June 26. The $418.36 collected from sales will be used for the Rainy Day Project at the Orchard Community Center. If the pool is closed due to inclement weather, a pool manager, along with several lifeguards, will open the community center gym from 2 to 4 p.m. Games and activities will be available. Anyone with a pool or community center membership will be admitted free. Otherwise, the cost is $1. The funds will be used to purchase games, craft projects, balls and other items for the project.
