The Tri-County Titans traveled to Plainview, Friday, June 21 for what was supposed to be a junior-senior double header.

"God had other plans as weather cut the juniors' game short and cancelled the senior game," said Coach Jeff Shabram.

The Tri-County juniors fell to Plainview by a score of 0-1. The game was called due to rain and lightning after four innings, which made the results official.

Isaac Hoferer took to the mound for the junior Titans and threw two innings, allowing one run on two hits, four walks, and one HBP, while striking out two batters.

Max Bruce pitched the final two innings, holding Plainview scoreless with 0 hits, one BB, and three strikeouts.

Tri-County could only muster two base runners the entire game. Ryan Rifer had a double in the first inning and Jason Shaver had a walk in the second inning.

Tri-County game stats:

Levi Hoferer: 0-2 batting.

Bruce: 0-2 batting.

Rifer: 1-2 batting, 1 2B.

A.J. Hobbs: 0-2 batting.

Hoferer: 0-2 batting.

Landon Nelson: 0-1 batting.

Shaver: 0-0 batting, 1 BB.

The Tri-County vs. Plainview seniors game will be rescheduled at a later date, some time in July.
