Shabram pitches no-hitter in Titans' opener

The Tri-County Titans Seniors opened the 2024 American Legion baseball season with a 10-0 victory over Creighton Thursday, May 23.

“Wyatt Shabram was in complete control of the game en route to throwing a 14 strikeout no-hitter,” said coach Jeff Shabram. “What an awesome way to start the season.”

Tri-County broke the game open in the third inning with five runs scored, highlighted by a 330-foot, two-run homerun over the left field fence by Landon McAllister.

The 5th inning saw Tri-County score two more runs followed by three runs in the sixth. The game ended early after that inning by the eight-run rule.

Tri-County game stats:

Connor Thomson: 2-4 batting, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI, 3 stolen bases.

Shabram: 2-3 batting, 1 BB, 2 runs scored, 1 RBI, 3 stolen bases.

Ryan Rifer: 3-4 batting, 2 runs scored, 2 RBI, 3 stolen bases.

A.J. Hobbs: 2-4 batting, 2 RBI.

Jake Schroeder: 0-3 batting, 1 BB, 1 run scored, 1 stolen base.

Isaac Pavlik: 1-3 batting, 2 RBI.

Kaiden Bauer: 0-3 batting, 1 sac bunt.

Riley Saul: 1-1 batting, 2 BB, 1 run scored.

Max Bruce: 1 stolen base.

Isaac Hoferer: 1 run scored, 1 stolen base.

McAllister: 1-2 batting, 1 BB, 1 run scored, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 stolen base.
