After a one-day postponement and a two-hour rain delay, the Class C State Golf Championship featured an 18-hole, one-day event on May 23.
In his first year on the Bobcat golf team, Michael Koenig found himself competing against the best of the best at the Elks Country Club in Columbus.
Koenig ended in 21st place, carding an 81, finishing nine over par.
Sam Wells, a St. Paul senior, finished one over par, with a 73, to claim the individual title on the first playoff hole.
Kearney Catholic claimed the team title.
