Delores H. Snider

Funeral services for Dolores H. Snider, 94, of Clearwater, will be 10:30 a.m.. Thursday, May 30, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Clearwater with Pastor Daniel Feusse, officiating. Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater.

Dolores died on May 22, 2024, at Arbor Care Center in Neligh.

Dolores Hilda Snider was born on March 2, 1930, to Hugo and Hulda (Setzkorn) Retzlaff at Pierce. She attended Pierce High School. On June 14, 1948, she married Earl J. Snider in Norfolk. She worked at JCPenney for 25 years and she worked at Citizen State Bank in Clearwater.

Dolores enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family and going to grandkids' games. In her younger years, she and Earl enjoyed bowling together and going camping. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Clearwater and involved with ladies aide.

She is survived by her children: Kathy (Ron) Herley of Seward; Diana (Steve) Trosper of Columbus; Deb (Fred) Thiele of Clearwater; and Ginnie Snider of Omaha; 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Steve; grandson, Christopher; granddaughter, Stephanie; siblings: Lorna Bauer, Arlene Krei, Ruth Laubsch, Elaine Rasmussen and Margaret Rasmussen.
