Bobcats claim title at Randolph Invite

Summerland led the field at the Randolph Invite, scoring 162 points en route to the title.

Creighton finished second in the May 2 meet. The Bulldogs finished with 133 points.

Two Bobcats placed in the 100m. Ruger Switzer led the field, busting through the tape in 11.47. Connor Thomson finished fourth. He ran 12.03.

Switzer jumped 19' one-half inch to win long jump.

The 400m relay team took top honors, running 46.59. Parker Napier, Preston Hoke, Alec Schindler and Switzer make up the team.

Ryan Rifer won high jump competition, clearing 6' one inch. He placed fourth in the 800m run, finishing in 2:24.63.

Ethan Kester cleared 10' six inches, claiming the pole vault title.

Gavin Whiting had another solid day in the shot put ring. He ended second, throwing 45' 8.34 inches. In discus, Whiting threw 126' nine inches. He finished second.

Napier earned a silver medal in the 300m hurdles, running 43.78. In long jump, Napier reached 18' 5.75 inches, finishing second. He cleared the pole vault bar at 10' six inches. He placed second.

Schindler finished second in triple jump, landing at 37' 9.5 inches. He picked up a third-place medal in the 300m hurdles. He ran 45.2. In discus, Schindler threw 103' six inches.

Thomson ended in third in the 200m. He ran 25.76.

Preston Hoke placed fourth in the 400. He ran :58. In triple jump, Hoke ended in third place. He jumped 37' four inches.

Carter Bergman jumped 35' four inches in triple jump, placing fourth.

Zander Cepal finished fifth in the 1600m, he ran 5:38.38.

AJ Hobbs ended fifth in the 200m, crossing in 26.44. He finished fifth in discus. He threw 105' eight inches.

Rogan Robertson crossed the 1600m finish line in 5:57.57, placing sixth.

Dewayne Baker ended in sixth place in the 800m run. He ran 2;44.27. Baker also ran the 400m, running 1:07.75.

Alec Kester ended in sixth place in pole vault. He cleared 8' six inches. In the 400m, he ran 1:09.19.
