O'Neill man ordered to have no contact with female children

Ronald M. Allision, faced the Honorable Mark Kozisec in the Holt County district courtroom in O’Neill on April 22 for sentencing on two crimes, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class 1 misdemeanor, and delivery of a controlled substance near a playground or school, a Class 2 felony.

Kozisec ordered a three-year term of probation. As part of the probation order, Kozisec ordered that Allison may not permit nor allow any unrelated female under the age of 19 to enter his residence at any time while he is present unless such female is accompanied at all times by her parent, guardian or another responsible adult who is not related to Allsion. He is required to report all such instances, in writing, to his probation officer within 30 days, listing the date and the names of the female child and the adult who was present.

Allison is to serve 90 days in the Holt County Jail, in 30-day increments, less four days previously served. The first stent commenced immediately. If he loses none of his good time, he must serve 23 days of each 30-day sentence. However, the second and third sessions are waiverable. Terms of probation also include payment of $1,110 probation-related fees and $149 costs of prosecution. He must obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and follow any recommendations regarding treatment; attend at least two AA/NA meetings per week and obtain a sponsor.

Allsion pleaded no contest to the two crimes that were included in an amended complaint filed by Holt County attorney Brent Kelly on Feb. 12, pursuant to a plea deal. Kelly dismissed three counts, a third-degree sexual assault of a child charge and two additional counts of delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana) near a playground or school. The charges were alleged between June 1, 2021, and Feb. 28, 2022, in O’Neill. minor and three counts of delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana) near a playground or school.

Allison was represented by Holt County public defender Rod Smith.
