The regular monthly meeting of the Village Board of Page was held Monday, April 8, 2024, at the village office. This meeting was conducted in compliance with the Nebraska Open Meetings Act and the Open Meeting Laws are posted at the village office.

Chair Linquist called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Trustees VanEvery, Tyrrell, Campbell and Leichleiter present. Also present: Cora Calkins. Absent: None.

Motion by Campbell, second by Tyrrell: Approve minutes of the March 11, 2024, regular meeting as presented. Passed: all ayes.

Motion by Campbell, second by Leichleiter, to pay claims presented. Tyrrell and Campbell, aye; Linquist, Leichleiter and VanEvery abstained.

Actions taken:

Junk/abandoned vehicle storage yard: Motion by Tyrrell, second by VanEvery, to notify resident that fence to be completed by June 1, 2024. Passed, all ayes, except Cambell, who abstained.

Kennel ordinance enforcement: Motion by Campbell, second by VanEvery, to have attorney proceed with legal action for non-compliance. Passed, all ayes.

Animals running at large: Motion by Tyrrell, second by Leichleiter, to have McNally give notice requiring corrective action. Passed, all ayes.

Nuisances/May notifications – Motion by Tyrrell, second by VanEvery, to allow Calkins to document and send corrective notices May 1, 2024. Passed, all ayes.

Clinic building repairs: Motion by Campbell, second by Tyrrell, to accept CSC bid for repairs on clinic and office building. Passed, all ayes.

Animal permit - Colfack: Motion by Campbell, second by Tyrrell, to grant permit. Passed, all ayes.

Animal permit - Garcia: Motion by Campbell, second by Tyrrell, to grant permit. Passed, all ayes, except VanEvery and Leichleiter, who abstained.

CNEDD: Motion by Tyrrell, second by Campbell to appoint Calkins as representative, with Campbell as alternate. Passed, all ayes.

Utility exemption - PDC: Motion by Campbell, second by Leichleiter, to discontinue usage exemption for duplex property. Passed, all ayes.

2024 property cleanup: Motion by Leichleiter, second by Campbell, to sponsor this project in 2024. Passed, all ayes.

2024 pet clinic: Motion by Campbell, second by Tyrrell, to sponsor pet clinic in May 2024. Passed, all ayes.

Motion by Leichleiter, second by Campbell, to adjourn. Passed, all ayes.
