NOTICE TO BIDDERS
HIGHWAY STRIPING
HOLT COUNTY, NEBRASKA
Sealed bids will be received by the County Clerk of Holt County, Nebraska, in the courthouse in O’Neill, Nebraska. Sealed bids may be sent to: Holt County Clerk, 204 N. 4th Street, P.O. Box 329, O’Neill, Nebraska 68763 until the 16th day of May, 2024, at 11 a.m., and should be clearly marked “SEALED BID FOR 2024 HIGHWAY STRIPING.” The sealed bids will be opened on the 16th day of May, 2024, at 11 a.m. and a contract will be approved by the board of supervisors at the May 16th meeting.
Copies of the bid documents are open to public inspection at the office of the Holt County Highway Superintendent, 1806 108th Road, O’Neill, Nebraska, 68763. A set of documents may be obtained from Mainelli Wagner & Associates, Inc. for a non-refundable fee of $5.00. (6920 Van Dorn St., Lincoln, Nebraska 68506; PH: 402-421-1717). All bid proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished with the bid documents.
All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5%, of the total amount of the bid made payable to the order of Holt County.
A 100% performance bond and completion bond will be required of the successful bidder within 10 days after awarding of the contract, or prior commencement of work, whichever comes first.
Awarding of the contract will be in accordance with the 11 points enumerated under “Competitive Bidding Considerations” Chapter 23, 31-Section 23-3110, such section part of those cited as the County Purchasing Act as given in Chapter 23-Article 31 Section 23-3101 of the Statutes of Nebraska.
The Holt County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and further reserves the right to waive any technicalities.
Holt County reserves the right to add or subtract miles from the contract at contract price.
