The regular monthly meeting of the village board of Page was held Monday, March 11, 2024, at the village office. This meeting was conducted in compliance with the Nebraska Open Meetings Act and the Open Meeting Laws are posted at the village office.

Chair Linquist called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. Trustees VanEvery, Tyrrell, Campbell and Leichleiter present. Also present: Jannan Sobotka and Cora Calkins. Absent: None.

Motion by Tyrrell, second by Campbell: Approve minutes of the Feb. 12, 2024, regular meeting as presented. Passed: all ayes.

Motion by Campbell, second by Leichleiter to pay claims, except for Linquist Technologies and R. Linquist – Reimb. Passed: Linquist, Tyrrell and Campbell – Aye; Leichleiter and VanEvery abstained.

Motion by Campbell, second by Tyrrell, to pay Linquist Technologies and R. Linquist reimb. Passed - all ayes, except Linquist, who abstained.

Dan Cunningham entered at 7:14 p.m.

Motion by VanEvery, second by Campbell, to move $515.43 from UF Savings to UF Checking for deposit returns and interest earned. Passed – all ayes.

Claims Paid: GF: ColdType Publishing, 107.50, pub fees; Complete Pest Elimination, 2,593.50, 2024 mosquito spraying; Great Plains Communication, 135.78, tele/int; Hwy Allocation Savings, 745.00, March match; Intuit, 153.00, QB sub; Linquist, Rachel, 77.98, reimb office sup; Linquist Technologies, 132.35, tractor rep; McNally Law, 241.90, prof fees; NCPPD, 618.93, elec; Northeast NE Clerks, 20.00, dues; Visa, 100.00, clerk bond; IRS Payroll taxes, 368.71; Wages, 1,644.18.

Sobotka and Cunningham exited at 7:43 p.m.

Actions taken:

Animal permit - Christiansen. Motion by VanEvery, second by Leichleiter, to grant permit. Passed - all ayes.

Motion by Campbell, second by Leichleiter, to adjourn. Passed - all ayes.

Adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
