When the Bobcats met Lutheran High Northeast, in a home contest played Feb. 9, little did anyone know that a crazy fourth quarter scoring spurt would lead to a Summerland win.
Basketball fans witnessed the comeback of all comebackes live and in person or on News Channel Nebraska's game of the night.
LHNE took a 23-16 lead in quarter one and both teams cooled down in the second. At the half, the Eagles led 30-24.
The third quarter belonged to the visitors in blue as they outscored the hometown boys, 15-4.
But the final stanza was all Bobcats, all day, as Summerland limited LHNE to a single point and scored 21 to edge the visitors, 49-46.
Preston Hoke had another strong performance, scoring 25 points. Alec Schindler added a dozen.
Sam Cheatum dished six assists and Parker Napier captured four steals.
The Bobcats travel to Boyd County, Friday. Junior varsity will tip off at 6 p.m. and varsity to follow at 7:30.
