Bobcats down Mustangs in dual

Summerland girls' wrestling squad traveled to Stanton, Jan. 22, for a dual and returned home with a 36-28 win.

Yazlin Zermeno lost an 8-6 decision to McKenzie Daniel in a 105-pound match.

The Mustangs' Corah Linnaus earned a 15-2 major decision over Savannah Gallagher in a 120-pound match.

Abbey Chipps lost, by fall in :43, to Micah McGillivray. They competed at 130.

Kaylee Thiele dropped a 6-0 major decision to Rylan Hansen in a 135-pound match.

In a 140-pound match, Abby Arroyo lost by fall, in :24, to Bekah Butterfield.

Kyah Bruhn, 170; Ammy Arroyo, 190; Raina Krebs, 235; Ava Cleveland, 110; Lenora Kester, 115; and Gracie Mudloff, 125, won by forfeit.

Azlynn Johnson, Stanton, won the 106-pound class by forfeit.
