DISTRICT 5 COMMISSIONER INTERVIEWS
The Antelope County Board of Commissioners has determined that the elective office of Antelope County Commissioner District 5 in Antelope County, Nebraska, will be vacant in February 2024. Pursuant to 32-567 Nebraska Revised Statutes, the vacancy will be filled within 45 days from the date of vacancy by appointment by the Antelope County Attorney, Antelope County Clerk and Antelope County Treasurer.
Pursuant to Section 23-150 Nebraska Revised Statutes, the individual appointed to fill the vacancy must be a registered voter in, and a resident of, his or her respective district. Commissioner District 5 is comprised of all of Grant Township and a portion of the Townships of Cedar, Oakdale, Burnett, Logan.
The current term of office for Commissioner District 5 ends on Jan. 7, 2027. The annual salary for this elective office is $18,750.00. Health insurance and retirement benefits are available.

Notice is hereby given that applications submitted will be reviewed in a public meeting with the County Attorney, County Treasurer and County Clerk on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, with selected applicants being interviewed, beginning at 7 p.m., in the county commissioner meeting room, Antelope County Courthouse Annex, 501 M Street, Neligh, NE.
