Summerland senior Ady Mlnarik scored 20 points and pulled down a dozen rebounds as the Bobcats surprised St. Mary's, 50-37, in a Dec. 19 game played at home.
The Bobcats held an 8-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and extended the margin to 23-20 by the halftime buzzer.
St. Mary's kept pace with Summerland in the third quarter, but the Bobcats doubled the Cards production in the fourth quarter to put away the win.
Lorissa Reiman finished with 14 points for SMH. Mya Hedstrom added 10.
Summerland will meet West Holt, Dec. 28, in holiday tournament action. JV games tip off at 3 p.m.
