Three players landed in double digits in Summerland's Thursday season opener against Neligh-Oakdale.
Sam Cheatum connected for 18, Alec Schindler, 15, and Michael Koenig, 14, in the Bobcats 72-30 lopsided victory.
The Bobcats jumped to a 30-4 first-quarter advantage and hit 56 points by the midway mark.
"We got off to a quick start," Head Coach Brett Kaczor said. "Our defensive pressure caused a lot of havoc that led to transition buckets. We weren't overly efficient in our half-court offense, which is usually the case early in the season."
Summerland limited turnovers, only giving away the ball eight times and kept fouls to a minimum, with six recorded in the game.
