Summerland went 1-1 in conference volleyball tourney play last week.
In the first round, the Bobcats swept Santee, 25-8, 25-3, 25-13.
Ady Mlnarik led the offensive attack, nailing 11 kills on 14 attempts. Sarah Wiese landed 16 ace serves.
The win set up a semifinal match against Elgin Public/Pope John that would go five sets.
Summerland took control of set one, winning 25-13, but the Wolfpack responded with a 25-18 win in set two. A back-and-forth affair took place in set three, with the Bobcats landing on top, 25-23. The Wolfpack won set four, 25-20 and controlled set five, 15-4.
Mlnarik finished with 21 kills and Caydence Schumacher ended with four blocks.
