Summerland's varsity volleyball team began the 2023 fall sports season at the Elkhorn Valley triangular, Aug. 24, finishing 1-1 on the evening.
In the first match, Summerland faced a tenacious West Holt squad. Despite the Cats leading the first set early, the Huskies bounced back to take the win, 25-23.
Senior Adyson Mlnarik kicked off her senior campaign with 10 kills. Lydia Robertson added an ace serve.
In the second match, the Bobcats took control of the home team, sweeping the Falcons, 25-15 in both sets.
Preslee Robertson nailed two ace serves in the match.
