Summerland Board of Education held a strategic planning workshop, Monday, March 27, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the school. President Steve Thiele called the meeting, which was advertised in the March 22, 2023, papers to order at 6 p.m. Thiele noted the Open Meetings Act psoted in the board room.

Roll call was taken. Present: Ed Nordby, Nate Schwager, Scott Thiele, Steve thiele, Austin Twibell, Jeremy Wagner. All board members were present.

Motion by Scott Thiele, seconded by wagner to approve the agenda. Voting aye: Nordby, Schwager, Thiele, Thiele, Twibell, Wagner. Nay: none. Motion carried.

Discussion. Brad Hoesing was present to discuss the process of strategic planning. A timeline was discussed for the coming months to have goals in place by the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

President Thiele adjourned the meeting at 7:23 p.m.
