Francis L. Brundle Jr., 35, of Page appeared in front of the Honorable Kale Burdick in the Holt County courtroom in O’Neill on Feb. 21 to face charges in three cases.
Brundle changed his plea to guilty, per terms of a plea bargain, on a Class 2 misdemeanor count, no proof of financial responsibility, committed May 7, 2021. In return, Holt County attorney Brent Kelly dismissed two counts, driving during revocation/impound and no proof of ownership. Burdick fined Brundle $250 and taxed him $33 costs.
A plea deal was also announced in a case from Dec. 26, 2021. Brundle pleaded guilty to two Class 3 misdemeanors, second-degree criminal trespass and littering. He agreed to pay restitution and Kelly dismissed a criminal mischief charge.
Burdick ordered fines of $100 on each count and ordered Brundle to pay $500 restitution to Derek Thiele of Clearwater. Brundle was taxed $50 costs.
The third case was also resolved by a plea agreement. Brundle pleaded guilty to third-degree domestic assault, a Class 1 misdemeanor committed Aug. 30, 2022. Kelly dismissed a criminal mischief charge.
Burdick sentenced Brundle to 10 days in the Holt County Jail, with credit for three days previously served. The jail sentence was suspended until March 18. Brundle was taxed $50 costs.
Brundle was arrested by a Holt County deputy in Page on Aug. 31 in the assault case.
He was represented by Holt County public defender Rod Smith in all three cases.
