Schroeder, Thomson selected for post-season classic

Summerland seniors Trevor Thomson and Kendrick Schroeder have been tabbed for the white squad for June's 2023 Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic.

The game, scheduled for an 11 a.m. kickoff on June 10, will be played at veterans memorial Field in Norfolk.

Greg Wemhoff, Elgin Public/Pope John, will direct the white team, with assistance from Aaron Wilken, Norfolk Public, Landonn Mackey, Madison, Scott Guzinski, Oakland-Craig and Matt Euse and Kyle Kallhoff, EPPJ.

Pierce's Mark Brahmer will coach the red team. He will be joined by Jeff Bellar, Norfolk Catholic; Carl Scholting, Pierce; Tom Allen, Crofton; Tyler Legate, Pierce and Tim Kassmeier, Norfolk Catholic.

“Northeast Nebraska is well respected throughout the state as a hotbed of football talent," said Wemhoff.
