Large crowd attends Anson Electric customer event

Frigid temperatures and a blast of snow did not stop area residents from a trip to Ewing last week. Anson Electric, Inc., held its annual customer appreciation event Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Organizers said with the weather forecast, they were concerned about attendance. Mother Nature did not slow the event.

"We could not have been more pleased with how the day turned out," said organizer Gina Koenig. "We do not keep track of numbers, but this may have been one our best turnouts in all the years we have done this. We just want to send out a huge thank you to all of you who braved the weather."

Four of the company's suppliers set up booths, including Chief Agri Industries, Komet Innovative Irrigation, Nelson Irrigation and Senninger Irrigation.

Each booth featured an informative display and representatives to answer questions and all offered a drawing for a chance to win gifts.

Winners of the door prizes are:

• Dave Hoffman, Plainview, from Chief Agri Industries. He will receive a Carhartt backpack filled with goodies;

• Julie Kruase, Brunswick, from Nelson Irrigation. Krause will receive a Nelson secondary end gun;

• Joe Fanta, Creighton, from Senninger Irrigation. Fanta will receive a Yeti cooler filled with goodies; and

• Steve Stelling, Orchard, from Komet Innovative Irrigation. Stelling will receive a Komet end gun.

"Thank you for your business in 2022 and best wishes for a prosperous 2023," said Anson Electric representatives.
