Summerland’s cross country team was one of 14 competing in the high school division of Friday’s O’Neill Invite.
The Bobcat girls’ team finished sixth in team standings, with 106 points.
Crofton scored 22 in the race for the team title, followed by West Holt, with 38.
A field of approximately 50 runners competed, with Carlee Livingston leading the Bobcats racers. She finished 23rd with a 25:22.70 run.
Aislynn Kester crossed the finish line in 29th, running 26:21.70. Danielle Schrunk crossed in the 34th spot, running 27:01.30. Shaylie Kester placed 39th, running 30:12.30.
Forty-nine runners participated in the boys’ division. West Holt scored 42 to take the team title, edging runner-up Bloomfield/Wausa by two points.
Alex Thiele ran 21:17.30, placing him in the 33rd position. Jesse Theiel ran 21:56.30, finishing 37th.
Eleven teams competed in the junior high division. Races covered 1.25 miles.
Breckyn Bergman finished 25th in a field of 26 runners in the girls’ race. She ran 8:28.
In the boys’ division, Zander Cepel finished 18th, running 7:12.50. Bryce Rudloff ran 7:37.20, finishing 27th.
Tucker Dougherty ended 37th, with a mark of 7:57.50. Lakin Cleveland ran 8:32, placing 45th. Jorden Cox ended in 53rd, running 11:10.70.
