Volleyball team defeats Stuart, EPPJ

In matches played at Niobrara, Sept. 6, the Summerland Bobcats earned two wins at the Niobrara/Verdigre triangular.

It took three sets, but the Bobcats defeated Stuart, 25-19, 24-26, 25-11. Hadley Cheatum pounded 11 kills and libero Talya Nilson nailed two ace serves.

The nightcap featured a battle of unbeatens as Summerland met Elgin Public/Pope John. Both sets were close, but the Lady Cats earned the sweep, 26-24 and 25-22.

Adyson Mlnarik and Caydence Schumacher each finished with five kills. Lydia Robertson added 11 set assists.
