Dolly Schilousky

Funeral services for Dolly “Dot” Schilousky, 84, formerly of Ewing, will be Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at Church of Christ in Ewing, with Pastor Wes Thompson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m., prayer service, at Snider Memorial Funeral Home in Clearwater. Burial will be in Ewing City Cemetery.

Snider Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Dolly died July 22, 2022, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Laurel. Condolences may be sent to the family at http://www.snidermemorialfh.com.

Dolly Schilousky was born Dec. 2, 1937, to Alfred E. and Helen I. Schilousky in Petersburg. She moved from Petersburg in 1942, having completed kindergarten, then to Fullerton and then, Ewing, where she attended Ewing Public School through the eighth grade.

Dolly never married. She enjoyed embroidering dish towels for relatives, watching old western movies on television and visiting with family and friends.

Dolly is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edwin Ernest; sister-in-law, Roma May Schilousky; and nephew, Michael Schilousky.

She is survived by her sisters, Alvera (Merle) Anderson of Grand Island, Barbara Schilousky of Laurel, Debra (Mark) Imel of Eads, Colorado; brothers, Alfred Jr. (Becky) of Kansas, James (Deb) Schilousky of Ewing, Gene (Gwen) Schilousky of St. Paul, Joe (Marsha) Schilousky of Ewing, and John (RuthAnn) Schilousky of Laurel and many nieces and nephews.
