Eleven students graduated Wednesday, May 18, from St. Peter Preschool Academy in the St. Peter Lutheran Church's fellowship hall in Orchard.
The graduation kicked off at 6 p.m., with preschool teacher, Jillian Henn, welcoming guests, introducing herself, saying a thank you to both of her teacher assistants, Angie Robertson and Shirley Raff, the children's parents and her mother, Sue Walmer.
Graduates include Merritt Schacht, Cameron Bodhi Rautenberg, Landrie Thiele, Gracelynn Schwager, Hunter Hoffman, Grady Twibell, Kasen Ferguson, Cambree Bergman, Paisley Watson, Haisley Stelling and Scarlett Marchand.
Students sang five songs to the audience. After the songs, Henn presented awards to students individually.
Tammy Cheatum presented Henn with a gift and said a special thank you from the preschool board, which consists of Cheatum, Lynae Stelling and Desirae Schwager.
Graduates, their parents and guests were invited to grab snacks before the concluding slideshow was presented, which included pictures and videos throughout the school year.
"We had an action-packed year full of learning and fun. It's amazing how little children can make you learn more about yourself and the true meaning of life. All the little things matter," Henn said.
