Two sentenced in Neligh courtroom, others granted continuances

Matthew F. Brandt, 34, of Royal faced the Honorable Donna Taylor in the Antelope County courtroom in Neligh on Wednesday, March 16, to be sentenced for a 2021 crime. Taylor sentenced Brandt to 15 days in the Antelope County Jail, fined him $500 and revoked his driver’s license for 60 days for a conviction of leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. He was also assessed $2 costs for service of his most recent arrest warrant. The remaining costs of prosecution had been covered by previous bond funds that were forfeited.
