SUBMITTED ARTICLE

This winter, Antelope Memorial Hospital welcomes Julie Lingenfelter, MSE, LIMHP, LMHP, LPC, as the new mental health therapist for AMH's Senior Life Solutions program.

Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of senior adults struggling with age-related depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, a recent health diagnosis or the loss of a loved one.

As the therapist, Lingenfelter is responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients utilizing group-, individual- and family-therapy sessions. She focuses on quality patient care and provision of services ordered by a physician.

After earning a Master of Science Degree in education from Wayne State College in 2007, Lingenfelter obtained her mental health therapist license.

For the past 12 years, she has worked as a full-time outpatient mental health therapist with the Counseling and Enrichment Center in O'Neill and Norfolk. In November 2021, she began her position at AMH's Senior Life Solutions.

"I feel very privileged, blessed and excited to be able to work at such a fantastic hospital - with such an interesting, thought-provoking and diverse population," said Lingenfelter,

Family members, physicians, self-referrals or other health professionals may refer individuals to the program.
