Lady Bobcats drop two road games

The Summerland Lady Bobcats sit at 10-5 on the season, following two road losses, Thursday and Friday.

Coach Greg Appleby said, “We played two of the best teams in the state in classes D1 and D2 in St. Mary’s and Humphrey/LHF. We played a good tough game against St. Mary’s and held their two leading scorers to a combined five points, but we lacked enough offensive firepower to pull the upset.”

On Friday, the Lady Cats got down early and H/LHF was in control the whole way.

“We knew this would be a tough one and was the first time this year we were not competitive in a game,” Appleby said. “We will bounce back from these two losses to improve through the last month of the season.
