Pleas entered in Antelope County court

Roger R. Hauf, 19, of O’Neill appeared in front of the Honorable Donna Taylor in the Antelope County courtroom in Neligh on Dec. 1, for further arraignment on a count of driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense, a Class 1 misdemeanor alleged Sept 12. Hauf pleaded not guilty and requested jury trial. Pretrial hearing is set Jan. 5, 2022. Bond in the amount of $3,000, 10%, is continued. Hauf is represented by Antelope County public defender Melissa Figueroa.

Stephen E. Wood, 51, of Neligh appeared before Taylor for arraignment on a charge of assault by mutual consent, alleged Oct. 17 at 301 J Street in Neligh. Wood pleaded not guilty and requested jury trial. Pretrial hearing is set Dec. 15. He is represented by Figueroa.

Two public nuisance cases, brought by Samantha Holocek, on behalf of the Village of Oakdale, were heard by Taylor last week.

Rebecca Starkey, 34, of Oakdale waived her right to counsel and pleaded guilty to a violation committed Nov. 16. Taylor set sentencing Jan 5, 2022.

Tricia Zobrist, 42, of Oakdale, represented by Figueroa, pleaded not guilty to a violation alleged Nov. 7. A trial will be held Jan. 5, 2022.
