When Holt County Supervisors meet Nov. 30, the board may finally consider a resolution on land-use development concerning conservation easements.
During the Nov. 16 meeting, supervisors agreed to forward the resolution, for review, to Holt County Attorney Brent Kelly.
The item appeared on the agenda in October, also.
The board may also consider a wetland reserve easement for Bar K Bar, LLC, located near Goose Lake.
In October, supervisors tabled discussion on the easement, requested by Melvin Knox. Supervisors agreed, at the time, to consider reframing Holt County’s easement language, by adding provisions used in a resolution from Morrill County.
The county road department will receive two pieces of equipment, following unanimous votes.
Supervisors approved the purchase of an LCG84 Virnig tree grapple, from NMC/Cat, for $5,020.
A 2014 CAT CP56B roller was approved. NMC/Cat presented a $98,750 bid, using the Sourcewell bid process.
