Reliable, Trustworthy Reporting, Capturing The Heartbeat Of Our Community
A Bartlett man escaped a single-vehicle accident without severe injury, Thursday, south of Ewing.
Mark Simons was driving south on 508 Avenue, approximately two miles south of Ewing, when he served to avoid collision with a deer.
Simons overcorrected and lost control of the 2019 Chevrolet Impala he was driving and rolled one and one-half times before the vehicle came to rest on its top.
Ewing Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and transported Simons to Antelope Memorial Hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
Ewing Fire and Rescue provided traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the scene by A & J Towing, of O’Neill.
The accident was investigated by the Holt County sheriff’s office and the Nebraska State Patrol.
