Lady Cats split matches

After capturing a victory against O'Neill High School last Tuesday, the Bobcat volleyball team fell to Humphrey/Lindsey Holy Family, in a home match, Sept. 23.

Summerland claimed a two-point win, 25-23, in set one. O'Neill powered back to take set two, 25-9. The Bobcats fought back in the final set to win, 25-15.

Against the Eagles, nine Lady Bobcats finished on the stat chart.

Adyson Mlnarik led the team with seven kills. Emily Nordby landed six spikes.

Harper Klabenes, in the libero position, ended the match with 14 digs.

Lydia Robertson, Mlnarik, Nordby and Cassidy Bearinger each recorded one ace serve.

H/LHF rolled into Summerland, Thursday, and came out swinging, picking up a 25-7 win in the opening set.

The Lady Bobcats regrouped, but found themselves coming up short in the second and third sets, losing 16-25 and 18-25.

Hadley Cheatum nailed seven kills and recorded two solo blocks.
