Carlson was sentenced to a four-year term of probation for three crimes committed Dec. 14, 2020, a Class 4 felony count, possession of a controlled substance (alprazolam), and two Class 2 misdemeanor counts, second- degree criminal trespass and violation of a harassment protection order issued in September 2020.
Terms of probation include attending three Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week, obtain a sponsor for same, allow his probation officer to communicate with the sponsor, obtain and maintain suitable employment or provide proof he is diligently seeking employment, pay any court-ordered spousal or child support and Carlson was ordered to have no personal contact with the victim and communication is limited to phone calls or text messages concerning parenting time with his minor child.
