Hadley Cheatum will represent the Summerland girls' track team at the 2021 Nebraska School Activities Association State Track Meet, Friday and Saturday, in Omaha.
The Summerland sophomore was the lone qualifier, following the May 13 Class C-5 district qualifier at Atkinson West Holt.
The Lady Cats scored 24 points, ending eighth in the nine-team field.
Cheatum will run the 400m and 800m around the Burke Stadium oval after earning district gold in both events.
She ran the 800 in 2:29.33, and in the 400m, she crossed the tape in 1:01.32.
The 4x100 relay, comprised of Cheatum, Emily Nordby, Brenna Wagner and Kylie Hewett, finished fifth, crossing the finish line in 53.81.
The 4x800 relay team placed sixth. The Cats in 12:22.70.
Hewett ran 13.4 in the 100m, earning a sixth-place medal.
The boys team scored 11 points, finishing ninth overall.
Battle Creek scored 148 points to earn the team title.
Eli Thiele ran the 3200m in 11:03.29. He ended his high school career with a fourth-place finish in the event.
Dalton Rotherham placed fifth in triple jump. He reached 39' 10.25".
Trevor Thomson earned two district medals. He placed fourth in the 100m, running 11.7 and finished sixth in the 200m. He ran 23.68.
