Six Summerland School students earned state SkillsUSA medals.
Awards were announced virtually, April 26. Competition took place between April 8 and 16.
Three students earned gold medals, including Calissa Kester, restaurant services; Madison Melcher, job skills, open; and Carlee Livingston, junior high job skills, open.
Faith King received silver in high school job skills, demo A.
Emma King received bronze in junior high job skills, open. Rafe Grebin earned the bronze medal in power equipment technology.
