Summerland prom set for Saturday

Plans are moving forward for Summerland's junior-senior prom, set for Saturday, in Clearwater.

According to Clearwater site principal Mike Sanne, photos will begin at 4:30, with the grand march scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Per a message shared via the district's message system, Thursday, Summerland juniors and seniors, and their dates, will not be required to wear masks to any of the evening' activities.

Masks are recommended for anyone visiting the school to watch the grand march.

A meal will be served at 6:15, followed by the dance at 11.

The evening will end with post prom festivities.
